Terms of Service

Welcome to VidPost. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and VidPost ("VidPost", "we", "us") governing your use of the vidpost.app website, applications, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What VidPost does

VidPost is an AI-assisted video studio. It generates short-form vertical videos from your ideas — including scripts, images, animation, voiceover narration, subtitles, and background music — and can publish or schedule those videos to social platforms you connect (currently TikTok), including automated recurring "Video Series".

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your content

"Your Content" means everything you submit to the Service (ideas, prompts, scripts, uploaded media, topic profiles) and the videos, images, audio, captions, and other outputs the Service generates for you ("Outputs").

  • You own Your Content. To the extent permitted by law, we assign to you any rights we may have in Outputs generated for you.
  • You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service — for example, rendering your videos, storing them, and publishing them to platforms you connect at your direction.
  • You are responsible for Your Content: you must have the rights to anything you upload, and you are responsible for reviewing Outputs before publishing them.
  • Because AI models can produce similar results for similar prompts, we cannot guarantee Outputs are unique to you.

4. AI-generated content

  • Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You must review Outputs before relying on or publishing them.
  • You are responsible for complying with any laws or platform rules that require labeling AI-generated or synthetic content where you publish it.
  • You may not use the Service to create content that impersonates real people without consent, or that is designed to deceive.

5. Connected platforms (TikTok)

  • When you connect a TikTok account, you authorize VidPost to publish content to that account — immediately or at scheduled times you choose, including videos produced automatically by a Video Series you configure.
  • Your use of TikTok remains governed by TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and you are responsible for the content published to your accounts.
  • You can disconnect a platform account at any time from your Connections page, which stops future posting and deletes our stored access tokens for that account. You can also revoke VidPost's access from within the platform's own settings.
  • VidPost is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • create or distribute content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that endangers minors;
  • spread spam, scams, malware, or coordinated deceptive behavior;
  • probe, overload, or disrupt the Service, or access it by automated means outside the features we provide;
  • resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.

7. Plans, credits, and billing

  • Parts of the Service are or will be paid, including subscription plans and usage credits that meter video generation and scheduled posting.
  • Prices, plan limits, and included credits are described in the Service at the point of purchase and may change with notice. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.
  • Generation that fails due to a fault in the Service will not consume your credits.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — belongs to VidPost and its licensors. These Terms don't grant you any rights in the Service except the limited right to use it as intended.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination we will stop scheduled posting and, subject to our Privacy Policy, delete or de-identify your data within a reasonable period.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT (INCLUDING VIEWS, ENGAGEMENT, OR MONETIZATION).

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDPOST WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE AND (B) US $100.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify VidPost against claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of a connected platform's rules.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will give you reasonable notice (for example, by email or in the app). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which VidPost's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party waives objections to venue.
